Sample praise for accompanist Robert Sacks:

Sapphyre Strings is honored to have Robert Sacks as its regular accompanist.  He is not only a highly accomplished pianist who can play ANYTHING – and well -  but he is also an excellent accompanist who works well with our young musicians at all levels of playing.  Our children feel very comfortable with him, whether in the group or individually as soloists.  We are very grateful to have him as a member of our Sapphyre Strings family.  Sue Jacula, Musical Director and President, Sapphyre Strings

In all my years in music, I would say that Mr. Sacks is the finest accompanist I have had the pleasure of working with.  His preparation is always complete, his involvement in rehearsals always lends insight, his presentation at performances is impeccable, and, above all, he plays with a great sense of evoking just what is needed to bring the performance to the highest level of the performer's capabilities.  Steve Jacula, Instructor, Violin School of South Naperville; Board of Directors - Sapphyre Strings; Owner - Old Plank Sonic Laboratories

I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate you and your services.  I know when I send a student to you to be accompanied, it will be done with the highest quality of musicianship and professionalism.  You are far more than an accompanist; you also act as coach and encourager to students who haven't worked with an accompanist before, or are just having nerves.  I have had the pleasure of hearing you accompany several times, and appreciate how you are able to follow a young performer effortlessly.  The adjudicators at both the DuPage Youth Symphony Concerto Competition and at the Naperville Central Extravaganza have also sung your praises for accompanying.  Kimberlie Richter, Applied Faculty Coordinator, North Central College; President, DuPage Youth Symphony; Naperville Central Extravaganza Coordinator
